Nigel had already developed a great interest in magic as a child. Receiving his first magic set at the age of twelve, he would spend hours in his room perfecting each effect and gave his first lecture on magic to his sixth grade class. As a teenager, Nigel would perform at local fairs and festivals. While attending college, he continued to perform, and taught classes on the art of magic at nearby high schools.

Nigel now resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he regularly performs for audiences from around the globe. Over the last few years Nigel has been fortunate to get a taste of the bustling Canadian film & television industry. He has worked side-by-side with world-class directors and producers and has sipped a drink or two with some of Hollywood's more famous faces.

The special effects teams, those talented people who create movie magic, have always fascinated Nigel. He has been amazed as he has witnessed them cause the seemingly impossible, to appear quite possible.

Nigel is more than a magician: He is a performer, an entertainer. His illusions are both spectacular magic and entertaining theatre. Combining interactivity with intimacy, he presents the audience with the opportunity to become a part of the show, the illusions take on a life of their own, creating memories that last a lifetime. The Show

Close-up Sleight of Hand Magic
Forget what you know about the real world and allow Nigel to take you on a trip into the world of the impossible. Using anything from a deck of cards to borrowed objects from the audience, Nigel will perform unbelievable intimate illusions in his hands. This is as close to real magic as you will ever get. Some performers move very quickly so the audience doesn't have a chance to fully register what is occurring. Nigel moves as slowly as he possibly can, therefor seemingly giving life to the illusion.

This type of magic is best seen in an intimate setting. Whether it is a banquet, convention, restaurant, or lounge, Nigel navigates his way throughout the crowd giving each individual a taste of the impossible, up-close.

Parlour/Stage Magic
As the setting gets larger, so does the magic. Give him a stage and a microphone and he will amaze the whole room. Not only will you experience the unbelievable from in the audience but also from on stage. Members of the audience are invited to help Nigel with the magic, he will even attempt to read the thoughts of one lucky spectator.

This show requires the audience to be seated with their attention drawn to the performance area. Whether it is a large boardroom or a casino, or something in-between, Nigel will create an evening you will not soon forget.
